Start with connection, not posing

Take a breath, hold hands, talk to each other, and let your attention return to the person beside you. Natural movement often creates images that feel more like you than a perfect pose ever could.

Choose clothes that let you feel like yourself

Wear something you can move in and feel confident wearing. Coordinate colors and textures rather than matching every detail, and avoid last-minute outfit experiments that make you feel unlike yourself.

Trust your photographer to guide you

You do not need to arrive knowing what to do. A little direction, gentle prompts, and time to settle in can make a real difference. Build in a few extra minutes so the session does not feel rushed.

Most importantly, focus on the experience you are sharing. The goal is not to look like someone else—it is to remember this season of your life.
